OUR SHARED BEHAVIORS
1

We show up all the way

If something needs doing, we do it. We don’t stop at our own to-do list. We pitch in, follow through, and take care of the details that make life easier for pet parents, patients, and each other.

2

We do the work, together

Care shows up in the details. We take extra time to comfort nervous pet parents and pets, follow up after appointments, and document each visit with thoughtfulness and clarity. We stay connected with referring vets and step in for one another, because supporting each other is part of doing right by our patients. It’s how we work, and how we make a real difference.

3

We care on purpose

Doing the right thing isn’t extra here. It’s part of the job. Whether that means coordinating referrals or making sure a client gets home safely, care goes beyond the exam room.

Scout doctors are urgent care experts, handling everything from last-minute limps to acute wounds. You’ll see a wide variety of cases each day, supported by capable teammates, modern tech, and a schedule designed for sustainability. Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and collaboration all matter here. If you’re looking for a role that values excellence without ego and lets you practice patient-first medicine, you might’ve found your match.

As a Veterinary Assistant at Scout, you’re the hands-on support that helps urgent care run smoothly when pets (and pet parents) need help fast. You’ll assist with patient care, prep and sterilize instruments, run some in-hospital lab diagnostics, and help keep exam rooms clean and ready. You’ll also spend time educating pet parents on home care and medications, and you’ll keep learning new skills like taking histories and vitals, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement. It’s fast-paced, team-first work that matters, best for someone who stays steady under pressure, cares for the details, and loves being part of the moment care turns into relief.

As a Veterinary Technician at Scout, you’re the steady hands and sharp eyes behind urgent care visits that don’t follow a script. You’ll support exams and treatments, run diagnostics, and monitor patients. You’ll help keep visits moving with calm, capable teamwork, especially when the day gets busy, and you’ll play a key role in making sure pet parents feel informed and supported from start to finish. If you love fast-paced medicine, clear communication, and making a real difference in the moments that matter, you’ll fit right in.

As a CSR at Scout, you’re the first friendly face (or voice) pet parents meet on a day they didn’t plan for. You’ll triage, schedule, coordinate, and communicate with warmth and precision, keeping the day on track for pets, pet parents, and the Scout team. It’s fast-paced, emotionally charged, and incredibly meaningful. You’ll help manage incoming calls so you can take great care of everyone while staying focused on the patients in clinic, especially when things get busy. If you love being the calm in the chaos and can juggle phones, logistics, and compassion all at once, this might be your spot.
